I keep forgetting that with our apartment's cable package includes HBO. I don't know if it's the HBO channel (or whatever...needless to say I've never had anything beyond basic cable before, so I've no idea how HBO even works), all I know is most of the time it's a channel below all the other ones that only plays empty feed, except every once in awhile it plays a movie on weekend mornings with no commercial interruptions. Anyway, the point is that sometime this morning the roomie and I realized this channel was playing the entire John Adams miniseries. Needless to say, you can guess what we've been doing all day. I'd heard how good this was supposed to be but had no chance of watching it. So I'm very happy, if a bit engorged with history. Go Paul Giamatti! Go Laura Linney! (Although, I am hallucinating, or is George Washington played by the guy that annoyed us all so much for an entire season of House? Awk-ward.) Tags: actors, history, tv Current Mood: content
